Crowns
Crowns, or caps for teeth, look and function just like natural teeth. Dr. Adibi may recommend a crown if your tooth has enough decay that it cannot hold a filling, or if your tooth is cracked or broken and in danger of cracking down into the root if left unattended. A crown covers your tooth completely. It fits snugly at the gum and protects what remains of the natural tooth.
Dental Implants
If you are missing one or more teeth, you'll want to talk with Dr. Adibi about replacements that are as natural as possible. If dentures don't work for you, you may consider dental implants. Unlike dentures, which can be removed, Dr. Adibi can make dental implants that are permanently anchored into the jaw itself.
You are a good candidate for dental implants if you have jawbone ridges that are in good shape and healthy oral tissues. When Dr. Adibi inserts the implant device into the jaw, a chemical and mechanical bond is formed. The jawbone actually grows into the implant.

Bridges
Dr. Adibi may recommend a bridge be utilized to replace one or more teeth. These restorations are cemented onto the teeth and are referred to as "fixed" dentistry as opposed to a restoration of missing teeth with a removable appliance or partial denture.
